Topics include: coming from Mexico and eventually bringing his parents from there; living in Redwood City with his sister and being falsely accused of being a drug dealer; first coming to EPA in 1988 with a mariachi band; how he got a job at Willow Oaks; living on Ralmar with his sister; meeting the chairperson of the original health clinic on University and joining their board until they closed; working with Comité Latino on Cinco de Mayo events; gangs on Ralmar and Manhattan; working as a property manager on Manhattan where most of residents were in gangs; participating on the Planning Commission, why he ran for City Council around 2010 and his plan to get involved again; various jobs in and problems with RCSD; getting COVID in 2020 because he was still at work; and his final comments about his concerns with EPA.
