LAFCO application and petition for a change or organization, reorganization or municipal reorganization for the unincorporated territory known as East Palo Alto and the dissolution of the East Palo Alto Sanitary District and the Ravenswood Recreation and Park District. Listed reasons for the proposal are to attain a localized municipal government that is able to provide the highest level of municipal urban services. Chief petitioners were Carmaleit Oakes, Rev. Edward Butler, and Hon. Barbara Mouton. The application was later accepted by LAFCo on 4/10/1981.
