A community celebration was held June 18, 2025 in East Palo Alto to honor her 95th birthday. This event, featuring local leaders and community members, included dinner, music from local artists, and aimed to support the San Mateo County Voter Education Initiative, a project of the Dolores Huerta Foundation.
