Article about EPA resident Calvin Gibson inventing a "gravity balanced" wheelbarrow and finally finding a manufacturer for the product. Gibson created the Gibson Manufacturing Co. with a headquarters at his home on Daphne Way. Gibson filed for a patent on his balancing mechanism and credits his success to the Hewlett Packard company, which helped make dies for stamping parts of the cart and gave him a punch press. Includes photo of Mr Gibson with his creation. Article is part of the Biographies binder compiled by the EPA Library.
