Article about the Cultural Kaleidoscope celebration of local cultural diversity at the Palo Alto Cultural Center. Includes interview with Myrtle Walker, President of the Ravenswood City School District Board, and Leon Kaplan, Palo Alto's director of arts and culture. Raices de Mexico, Telefunken, Potential, Jinpu Kai-Kin Academy, St. John Baptist Church Choir, and other local groups performed at the 1991 Cultural Kaleidoscope event. Cultural Kaleidoscope was the kickoff of EPA's Juneteenth celebration. The funds raised by the event were earmarked for cleaning up the Ravenswood High School auditorium as it transformed into the EPA Cultural Center.
